Dr. Laura-Marie Zimmermann

Founder and Executive Director

Laura is a strategic leader in life science innovation, specialising in preclinical development and early-stage R&D strategy. As Founder and Executive Director of Biorizon Consulting, she helps biotech, MedTech companies, and investors make confident, data-driven decisions across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

With over a decade of experience in regenerative medicine, rare diseases, cardiovascular research, diagnostics, and medical devices, she has partnered with global pharma leaders—including Boehringer Ingelheim and AstraZeneca—to advance translational strategy and trial design. Her advisory work spans C-suite consulting and board-level contributions.

Laura previously held research roles at the Max Planck Institute and University Hospital Cologne. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a M.Sc. and B.Sc in Chemical Biology.
